Hi New Faces, I came along to one of your SPEED Dating events in Eastbourne during June. I’d booked the ticket in advance, but when the evening came along, I didn’t feel like going. I went along with little enthusiasm and out of the blue, met a great lady. I originally noticed her as she walked down the stairs. I was standing at the bar, she stood about three of four meters away, we caught each others eyes a number of times. The evening got underway, ladies went to their allotted tables, us guys had the hard bit… we had to walk from table to table. I got to table 10 just as the host suggested a drinks break. The lady at table 10 was the woman that I’d made eye contact with, earlier. It must have been fate!! Instead of going to the bar, we chatted for about 10 minutes followed by our 3 minutes when the SPEED Dating restarted. We agreed that we’d tick each others box and the rest they say, is history. I’d just like to write a letter of thanks to all of you at UK New Faces Introductions for introducing me to my current partner. I met Ursula at your SPEED Dating event in Eastbourne. You may remember that I was keen to meet someone who lived not too far away and as Ursula lived in the Worthing area that made getting to know each other quite easy.
